Kalina is highly motivated by working for mission-driven companies and by collaborating with people who inspire her with their passion and deep knowledge of their subject. She thrives in diverse environments where individuals are free to express their thoughts, ideas, and creativity- believing that this is where the best ideas are born.
Kalina was born and raised in Bulgaria but moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, to pursue a degree in Public Relations and Marketing. After working in events management and media relations for the Edinburgh International Festival, she moved to London to join one of the largest management consultancies as a Global Marketing Specialist. Since then, she has worked in tech, micromobility, and data & AI recruitment - specialising in strategic B2B growth marketing. Her accomplishments include launching a successful podcast, growing a data & AI newsletter to over 200k subscribers, and organising hundreds of events.
On a personal level, moving abroad alone at a young age and her travels remain her proudest achievements to date.
Kalina holds a BA in Public Relations and Marketing and a diploma in Digital Marketing. She is currently upskilling in SQL, machine learning and python.
Kalina is a trained opera singer, an active reggaeton dancer and a passionate traveller. With the aim to visit at least half of the world’s countries, she tries to explore at least 2 new countries every year!
