Originally from Portugal, André completed his Master’s degree in Structural Engineering at NOVA University of Lisbon in 2012. Driven by a desire to grow and expand his skills, he moved to London in 2014 to take on a new challenge in his career. Since then, he has contributed to a wide range of key and complex engineering projects within the enabling and structural sectors, including demolition, structural alterations & retention, deep basements, piling works, groundworks, substructures and superstructures.
André has led planning and technical management across both pre-construction and construction phases of major London developments. He has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and seamless execution. His achievements include developing innovative methodologies and construction solutions to address complex structural challenges, as well as designing robust logistics and phasing strategies to keep high-stakes projects on track and aligned with client expectations.
