Kirsty strives to make things happen, get things moving, unblock stuck things, and make project life easier for everyone involved. She works hard to ensure strong working relationships whilst being approachable and empathetic. She wants projects to be memorable for the right reasons and to make a positive difference in everything she does.
Kirsty comes from a Construction background, undertaking a degree in construction management whilst working part-time for a small Lincoln-based construction firm. She has extensive experience in project fields, from Town Centre redevelopments (Witney, Oxfordshire) to sustainable innovation projects (M&S Plan A, Ellesmere Port). Kirsty took a segway into railway, first learning all about operations and management of the railway, eventually moving back into construction-related projects within the railway environment. There she would build a close working relationship with Network Rail, Local Councils and the DfT by delivering many small and large-scale projects through a team of project managers to jointly bid and secure funding through transforming cities and levelling up funding.

She likes to make birthday cakes for each of her children, although the requests are getting more elaborate as the years go on (she had to take an entire day off work for the last one!)
She has a puppy called ‘Loki’ who lives up to his namesake and is known as the dog of mischief and will occasionally appear on the teams calls.
