He really enjoys the challenge of working on large -scale construction projects that deliver real-world benefits such as renewable energy schemes or civil engineering projects. He loves learning new skills and tools to effectively manage project delivery.
He came from a background in Forestry and Arboricultural surveying before moving to Australia for a year, gaining experience across a number of construction trades. Following a move back to the UK he worked in development planning for a Local Authority for a number of years, with a focus on working with developers to secure and deliver sustainable green infrastructure. More recently he focused on Renewable Energy development, acting as a client-side project manager on the scoping and project management of rooftop and ground mount solar projects in the SW UK.

• Matt is looking to complete his APM Project Management certification, RTPI and MRICS Chartership in the next year to further his professional development.
He enjoys travelling, hiking and keeping active with his dog Frankie. He also enjoys mini DIY projects and converting vans into campervans.
